ESCAPE No.0: DANDELION
The journey of a dandelion seed as it wanders through the forgotten corners of the world, hidden away due to their lack of usefulness, where, through solemn persistence, it finds hope and resilience.
This series of works was driven by the curiosity of what it means to be human. Escaping is an attempt to create space for reflection, to ask the questions of who we are and how we should live in this world.
Wildflower=Dandelion, 2026, Graphite on Paper, Procreate, 11*11 inches
A dandelion, free to drift wherever the wind goes.
Today, I come to rest among a field of what has been cast aside.
A toast to the artisans, to the question-askers, to the preservationists. To those who care in a way that no machine can replicate.

The Folding Screen: Paralysis, 2026, Procreate 19*13 inches
I am akin to a decorative screen. Within a structure that demands you endlessly prove your utility just to survive, fierce competition has ultimately phased me out. I am suspended in a sea of infinite possibilities, yet paralyzed and incapable of doing anything in reality. This piece metaphorically captures the stagnant state of modern people—losing their identities under the crushing weight of an excess of possibilities
While traditional Munbangdo (scholars' still-life) once symbolized academic success and hope, this artwork uses its folding panels to represent the invisible walls and 'social paralysis' trapping modern individuals. However, the suspended objects within are not useless remnants, but self-portraits of people who have temporarily stepped aside from society's relentless pace. Ultimately, through this static landscape, we confront the solitude behind achievement and discover the true value of coming to a pause.
It begins from the unknown. Today as always, I wait, as it something might arrive, as if it always almost does.

Lost and Found, 2026,,Procreate, 11*19 inches
Returning to lost spaces,
To find ourselves, lost.
Water must flow.
Today, I am washed away in my thoughts.
I can only cry, the tears fall,
Filtered through the pipes,
I hope they will find their way back to me.

The Rat That Ate Fingernails, 2026, Procreate,11*11 inches
A rat that ate a fingernail
took on the form of a human.
In transforming, she became ashamed of her own laziness
and, in shame, scurried back into a hole.

Map in search of Solace, 2026,Procreate,19*13 inches
Where must I go to lay down my guard.
A sanctuary for the little things?
Does it even exist?
